GitPhone: An experimental iPhone app to stay connected with GitHub on the go

I started this project to test out some ideas for an iPhone app which utilizes a 3rd party API. Naturally, I chose GitHub because I’m an extreme fanboy. It’s not polished. There are no tests. It really doesn’t do anything useful and I really don’t where I want to take it. However, there is a good deal of infrastructure here that I feel is worth sharing, especially, since there are so few OSS iPhone apps out there in their entirety.

Hi Sam,
sounds great, could you post a screenshot as weel ? I don’t have an iPhone currently, and I’m too lazy to download the project and emulate it
Cheers on !

Will you publish this on the App Store, or is it not ready yet?

That was my original plan. It’s not ready to be in the store yet. My interest in completing it had started to wane so by placing it on GH I’m hoping others with help with the direction and coding. I had one submission already.
I may put up a wiki page asking for features people would find useful in a mobile GitHub.
